About Adele – Acupuncturist

about_adelepotter2

My interest in acupuncture came from receiving treatment myself, firstly as a teenager and then later in life. Having experienced profound changes from treatment, I decided to study to become an acupuncturist.

I trained for over 4 years in the New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine and am fully qualified in both Traditional and Five Element acupuncture.

I am a member of  Acupuncture New Zealand,  and adhere to my professional codes of safe practice and professional conduct. I am also an Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) provider.

I am passionate about helping people through acupuncture, and I have a particular interest in Women’s health, especially pregnancy.

The practice and philosophy of this medicine makes complete sense to me and feels like a reflection of my purpose in life; a personal and professional coming home.

What clients say…

“I went to Adele for treatment for an injured knee. I had an 80% reduction in pain after one treatment. Adele also treated me for pain associated with my menstrual cycle. I have now been able to reduce the pain killers I take from 6 tablets a month to 1 tablet a month. I feel that my overall wellbeing has improved significantly.”

Karen

“At 37 weeks I found out my baby had turned breech so Adele worked her magic in only 2 sessions and I was amazed to find that bubs turned around. Acupuncture also helped prepare my body for labour and although I wouldn’t say it was easy in the end my labour was only 4 and a half hours.”
